Kingsthorpe Baptists and Methodists have begun a Bible Study course entitled The Grace Course. This course is planned to last for 12 weeks, so it will take us into Lent. It meets from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Wednesdays at Kingsthorpe Baptist Church. The first session was on Wednesday 18th January.
If anyone from any of the other Worshipping Communities wishes to join this course they would be most welcome.
The objective of The Grace Course is to help you experience God’s grace in such a deep way (in your heart as well as your head) that love for Him becomes the main motivator in your life. So that you go on to bear more fruit than you ever thought possible.
- LIVE A FRUITFUL CHRISTIAN LIFE SIMPLY BY BEING THE PERSON GOD MADE YOU TO BE
- DON’T “PERFORM” FOR GOD OR OTHER PEOPLE BUT LEARN TO SERVE OUT OF LOVE
- HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGH NO MATTER WHAT’S IN YOUR PAST
- GET RID OF CONDEMNING THOUGHTS AND THAT “LOW GRADE FEVER” OF GUILT
- STOP RETURNING TO THE SAME OLD SINS AGAIN AND AGAIN
- FEAR NOTHING AND NO ONE EXCEPT GOD HIMSELF
- LEARN TO SERVE OUT OF GENUINE REST
- WORK TOGETHER WITH OTHERS TO REACH THE WORLD FOR CHRIST
